Our history
Südstärke can look back on more than 100 years of potato processing.
Originally, the sites in Sünching and Schrobenhausen started up independently in 1916 and 1938, respectively. In 1947 both companies added potato starch to their product portfolio. Starting in 1956 they co-operated in a sales and marketing group and finally fully merged in 1981 to form Südstärke.
